Strategic Buyer IT – Focus on License Management (m/f/d)

Development and implementation of a purchasing strategy with main focus on the Information Technology (IT) product group, taking into account the business objectives and budget requirements Identification of potentials for cost savings and optimization of procurement processes in strategic IT purchase Selection, evaluation and development of suppliers and negotiation of contracts, conditions and framework agreements in the IT environment Ensuring compliance with compliance policies, procurement rules and quality standards in the procurement of IT goods and services Monitoring and analysis of market and technology trends to support strategic procurement decisions Support EU-wide award procedures in cooperation with our award management Development and development of a central license management for software and IT licenses Control and optimization of the entire license life cycle (requirement planning, procurement, use and renewal) as well as ensuring license compliance, including preparation and monitoring of manufacturer audits Analysis and optimization of existing license models and contract structures as well as the use of the software-asset management tool (e.g. snow) for transparency about licenses and usage Cooperation in a strong team of strategic procurement managers, so that, if necessary, support in other product groups in the field of economic goods, business technology and food is also possible.

Complete studies in the field of business information technology, business management, IT management or comparable qualification Relevant professional experience in software and license management, ideally in the context of larger IT landscapes Experience in strategic purchasing of IT hardware, software and IT services Experience in handling software set management tools (e.g. snow) Ideally sound knowledge in procurement and contract law Analytical skills and a good understanding of technical and licensing relationships in the IT environment Experience in professional stakeholder management, in particular in IT, as well as strong communication and team skills Versified handling of electronic data processing (good knowledge in MS Office and ideally SAP-MM)
