Anyone who works today as an actuary does not necessarily have to have completed a mathematics study, even graduates of other scientific subjects such as physics, statistics or meteorology find their way into the Pricing Teams of AXA. This is mainly related to the new diverse task of the modern actuary. As an actuary, your models are implemented directly in the AXA products. Next time you go past an AXA store window, you know you have a significant share of the exhibited products.

As an actuary in the agile actuariat, you will form the tariff landscape of AXA with your team. On the basis of the latest statistical modeling methods, you will guide specific recommendations for tariff and action for management, which will be reflected directly in the tariff. With enthusiasm for state-of-the-art technologies, you work on open source tools and adapt them to your own ideas. In an interdisciplinary exchange, you continuously develop the modeling and data infrastructure of AXA health insurance. You will discuss your results together with different interfaces such as product management, controlling and risk management. As part of your activities, you will be given responsibility and choices early. You also have the opportunity to actively shape the cultural development of AXA towards an agile company.

You have a master's degree with very good performances, ideally even a doctorate, in an STEM subject or a comparable study direction. You convince by analytical skills combined with an independent and initiative working. You are not only mathematically fit, but you also have an affinity for programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Git) and preparation of complex data as well as statistical modeling. You work in the team to complement the personal interests and preferences of all members. You bring communicative skills, in particular you can clearly and address complex issues. Your knowledge urges you to work in unknown technologies and methods. You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
