You shape the target image of our ServiceNow Platform, translate technical requirements into scalable solutions and make sure that architecture, safety and operation go hand in hand. In our landscape we work with ITSM, SPM and CMDB as well as integrations into Azure/Intune, Azure DevOps, SAP HR and Entra/Omada (IAM). Platform Architecture & Roadmap: You define target architecture, guardrails and development standards (Security by Design, Naming, Reuse, Upgrade Strategy). Solution Design: You take the end to end conception for ITSM/SPM/HRSD/CMDB/CSM, and translates business needs into Epics/Features/Stories and “Build vs. Buy” decisions. Governance & Quality: You're reviewing architecture reviews and take care of Code Guidelines (Script Includes, Flow Designer), ATF Test Strategies, Releases & Change Management. Data Model & CMDB: You develop a CSDM compliant service portfolio, CMDB Health, data quality and ownership. Integration & Automation: You are responsible for the interfaces via IntegrationHub/REST/SOAP, Auth (OAuth/SAML), Eventing and CI/CD Pipelines with Azure DevOps. Security & Compliance: You are responsible for roles/rightening concepts, identity & access (Entra/AD), DLP rules and audit evidence. Operation & Observability: You monitor platform KPIs, SLAs, performance tuning and problem management. Partner Control & Go Live: You coordinate external implementation partners, E2E Tests, Go Live Planning and transfer to the company.
Complete university studies (e.g. computer science, business informatics, engineering or natural science) or equivalent qualification Relevant experience as ServiceNow Architect*in/Lead (at least two modules deep, e.g. ITSM, SPM, HRSD, CMDB/CSM) Good knowledge of CSDM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ATF, UI Builder/Now Experience and very good JavaScript/Glide Skills Routinized handling of REST/SOAP, Webhooks, Message Queues; Source Control & CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Branching/Pipelines Solid knowledge of architecture methodology (e.g. TOGAF), ITIL 4 Foundation and agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) Experience in handling ServiceNow CSA and CIS (e.g. ITSM/HRSD/CSM) and ideally CAD; additional Micro Certs welcome in the architecture environment Flowing German knowledge in Word and Writing (forced required)
