The Hessische Competence Center for New Management is the central IT service provider of the Hessian State Administration for the operation, the further development and the strategic control of the nationwide SAP systems. As a certified SAP Customer Center of Expertise, the HCC is responsible for a highly complex, future-critical SAP system landscape and actively shapes the digital transformation of public administration. We are looking for a dedicated personality that recognizes technological trends at an early stage, assesses their potentials and shifts innovations and AI applications into practice, safely and sustainably. Together with you, we bring SAP innovations and intelligent solutions to the next level.

This will be your tasks: You design and control SAP innovations with strategic effect. You identify relevant technological developments in the SAP environment, evaluate their added value for the state administration and transfer them into the existing SAP system landscape in a structured manner. You are responsible for the introduction of new technologies from idea to implementation. You initiate and accompany pilot projects and Proof of Concepts and ensure that innovative solutions are implemented safely, economically and sustainably. You consistently anchor innovations in governance, architecture and operation. You ensure that new SAP technologies are seamlessly integrated into existing IT governance, architecture requirements, security requirements and operational models. You work connected to central interfaces. You coordinate cooperation between strategy, development, operation and IT security and moderate technical coordination processes at eye level. You accompany the cloud and transformation development in the SAP environment. You support the further development of modern SAP architectures and cloud scenarios taking into account public and regulatory frameworks. You represent the HCC in innovation-related contexts. You bring your expertise into specialist bodies, working groups and SAP networks and position the HCC as an innovative and reliable IT service provider.

Successfully completed, relevant scientific study of computer science (or a comparable degree) or equivalent skills and experience acquired in practice German knowledge of word and writing on at least C1 level Long-term knowledge and experience: In the design and evaluation of modern SAP technologies and architectures In managing complex IT projects with several stakeholders In cooperation with architecture management, IT governance and IT security In the design, construction and control of an innovation portfolio Remarkable are: SAP BTP, Cloud Architectures, AI Services or Low Code Platforms Experience to test new ideas and technologies in small pilot projects and to evaluate their feasibility and benefits on the basis of Proof of Concepts Basic knowledge of relevant architecture or governance frameworks You can also bring this with you: A strong interest in innovation while at the same time high governance awareness.
