The LVR-Klinik Langenfeld is a specialist clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics and academic teaching hospital at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She's part of the LVR clinical network. At the Langenfeld site and in our treatment centers Leverkusen, Solingen and Mettmann we treat patients from the southern and central Mettmann, Solingen, Leverkusen, Burscheid and Leichlingen. 822 treatment sites are available in the semi-stationary and fully-stationary area. In addition, there are general psychiatric and specialized outpatients, such as for eating disorders, traumas, Gerontopsychiatrie. We work at a high level with the use of state-of-the-art treatment methods such as EKT and rTMS. The LVR-Klinik Langenfeld has full training authorisations for further training in the fields of psychiatry and psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy.
