You actively develop and design our own software solutions – from conception to deployment. You rely on our modern technology stack: Spring Boot, Java, Vaadin, Docker Swarm, Git-Lab CI and Oracle – and continuously develop it. You drive forward the quality of our Codebase – through reviews, refactorings and a clean architecture. You actively improve the developer experience – be it through better tooling, faster feedback loops, clearer structures or less friction in everyday life. You are actively working on the migration of grown systems (C++, Ruby, Java 8) towards our modern stack – this is not about a pure technology exchange, but about making the company, our employees and our clients noticeably progress: new opportunities, better wartability, faster iteration, more automation. You automate manual processes and complete business processes in software – with the aim of really simplifying workflows, not only digitizing existing 1:1. You actively observe how AI tools and technologies can enrich our business and development processes meaningfully, establish ways to use them and also experiment with LLMs. You share their knowledge in the team, for example in short tech talks, pair programming sessions or simply coffee.

You have several years of experience in application development and know the Java/Spring boot ecosystem in and out. A good feeling for wartable, clearly structured software architectures is characterized by the routined handling of relational databases, especially the Oracle ecosystem, as well as ORMs (e.g. hibernate / Spring Data JPA). Docker and containerized deployments are as familiar as CI/CD with GitLab. With your pronounced hand-on mentality you roll up the sleeves and solve problems instead of managing them. Legacy code does not scare you – you know that a good migration is more than a technology exchange. Openness for other technologies and languages as well as curiosity about new things are your profile. You regularly deal with topics such as AI and Large Language Models and recognise the potential of these technologies for our work. Self-employed work is just like working in agile teams. You communicate clearly, give feedback at eye level and learn as much as you share knowledge.
