The Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range as well as the quality of all Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Contract management, risk management, cost management and process management for the MP area are centrally located with us. All methods, processes and systems of MP are continuously improved and developed in our Center. As an intern in the area of purchasing and supplier quality for the electrified drivetrain, you have the opportunity to introduce your knowledge and experience as well as the opportunity to develop yourself personally. These challenges include: Support for sourcing potential suppliers according to the guidelines for supplier selection

Active cooperation in preparation for new tenders

Pre- and post-processing of purchase negotiations and participation in negotiations

Preparing offer and economics comparisons

Support for results of negotiations

Support the team in administrative shopping

Leading correspondence with national and international partners in the course of projects

Implementation of a project work by agreement

Creating presentation documents & active cooperation in projects

The internship can start from April 2026.

Degree course in the field of economic engineering, business management or comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working
