As a Team Lead Finance, you take responsibility for a six-member team and actively shape the further development of our financial sector together with the CFO. You report directly to the CFO, relieve them of operational leadership and coordination tasks and are their closest savings partner* in the financial sector. Leadership and team development Professional and disciplinary leadership of six employees in the field of project finance Building and further developing a powerful team structure with clear roles, responsibilities and quality standards Regular employee talks, feedback and individual development planning for the individual team members Control of capacity and task distribution across the team Project finances and compliance Ensure reliable financial project execution: clean budgets, stringent monitoring, correct accounting and consistent evidence of use Set and establish uniform processes, standards and checklists – also in the respective systems Ensuring Donor conformity in dealing with different institutional donors (BMZ, EU, GIZ and others) Contact person for project management in complex financial issues and escalations; technical assistance in the supply process Operational cooperation in complex cases or work tips – you’ll pack up when needed Accounting Control Discipline management of the senior accountant and ensuring correct procedures for booking, payment and tax executions accompanying the annual financial statements according to HGB; Officer for tax advice and audit Designing accounting processes and standards in the financial sector Systems and further development Illustration and development of processes in the new ERP system Building a structured knowledge management and a resilient process documentation

Completed studies (economic, public/nonprofit management, legal/administrative sciences) or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in project and third-party finances (budgeting, monitoring, callbacks, evidence of use) Experience with complex support environments and different donor organisms (BMZ, EU, GIZ, multilateral) Finded understanding of the accounting treatment of grant and performance projects as well as the HGB basics; Participation in annual accounts Leadership experience or clearly identifiable leadership potential – You can set standards and win people for it Hands-on-Mentality: You can lead and still pack yourself Joy in developing processes and shaping structures – you don't need a finished manual to get started Structured, process-oriented operation and binding communication High digital competence, especially Excel; Experience with ERP systems of advantage Very good knowledge of German in word and writing; good English skills
