Branch Manager Field Trials (m/f/d)

BioChem agrar is an internationally operating, certified testing facility with currently more than 150 employees. We offer a wide range of services in the fields of ecotoxicology, field testing and analysis.

Location: North Rhine-Westphalia For our branch in North Rhine-Westphalia, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced personality as a branch management of Freilandversuche (m/w/d). Our branch specialises in carrying out free-land trials under GEP and GLP conditions. With a team of around 20 employees, we are working on challenging experimental projects for our customers, making an important contribution to the development and approval of modern crop protection and agricultural products. As a branch manager, you assume the overall technical, organisational and economic responsibility for the location and combine technical expertise with leadership, entrepreneurial thinking and a structured operational control.

Leadership and location responsibility General responsibility for the professional, organisational and operational management of the branch Leadership, development and motivation of a team of around 20 employees Planning and control of personnel and technical resources Development of the organisation, structures and processes at the site Ensuring efficient and economic utilization of existing capacities Responsibility for compliance with corporate standards and internal processes and requirements Close cooperation with Freiland, management and other branches Testing and quality Planning, coordination and monitoring of ongoing free-country trials Ensuring a timely and high-quality implementation of the experimental projects Technical support and control of experimental activities at the site Ensuring compliance with GEP and GLP requirements in close cooperation with the head of the testing device (GLP and GEP) Close coordination with the head of the testing facility on quality issues and the further development of the experimental organisation Support for audits, inspections and customer requirements related to GEP and GLP Continuous further development of technical quality and experimental procedures Commercial responsibility Responsibility for the office of the branch Planning, monitoring and control of the site budget Control of costs, revenues and economic development of the establishment Creation and calculation of offers for customers and projects Coordination of performance, resources and costs with project managers Responsibility for the proper and timely settlement of the services carried out Monitoring of open services and close cooperation with the commercial department Identification and implementation of measures to improve efficiency Customers and Projects Contact person for customers and clients in all higher-level questions about the implementation of the tests at the site continuing and maintaining existing customer relationships; Building new customer relationships Support for the acquisition of new projects and customers Coordination of project requirements, capacities and resources Coordination of cooperation between customers, testing and location

Completed studies in agriculture, agriculture, plant construction, horticulture, biology or comparable qualifications Multiannual professional experience in the field of outdoor testing, preferably in the field of crop protection, seed or agricultural products Finded practical experience with GEP and/or GLP requests Ideally experience in the line or Coordination of experiments under JEP and GLP Experience in the leadership and development of employees Business understanding and ideally understanding with responsibility for budget, cost center or earnings Experience in providing services or projects is advantageous Impressed organizational and sub­stantial thinking High quality and responsibility Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength and joy in cooperation with different contact persons Secure appearance to customers, employees and external partners Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions Safe handling of current MS Office applications driving licence class B
