IT Specialist for Open Source Security (m/f/d)

Support and active design of the use of open source software in federal administration and digitalization projects. Control and coordination of external IT service providers and technical audit. Development of security concepts and IT architectures and review of current security requirements. Implementation of technical analyses, test and safety assessments. Development of practical guides and recommendations for action for the use of open source software. Representation in national and European working groups.

A completed study (Bachelor/ FH Diploma) of the fields of computer science, technical computer science, IT security, administrative or economic information technology or a comparable, relevant field of information technology. At least three years of detectable professional experience in one of the following areas: cooperation in IT projects with security, ideally in the field of open source or administration, evaluation or introduction of open source solutions and/or Development of IT security concepts and architectures.

knowledge of IT security (e.g. vulnerability analyses) and/or Open source software and architectures including common development and operating models.

Ideally, you also bring basic knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. basic IT protection), experience in cooperation with different stakeholders and/or Understanding the special requirements of public administration.
