Since 1984, the drug emergency service Berlin gGmbH (formerly an emergency service for drug addicts and addicts Berlin e.V.) has been applied to people with a addiction disease as well as to persons who do not want to reflect or change their consumer behaviour. In addition, we inform about effects and risks of substance consumption. We also advise and support people who are in a medical substitution programme. We support the social reintegration, the participation in social life and the development of a sensory daily structure. Our work focuses on supporting children, young people and their families. Advice and support for women who consume drugs* and women who follow sex work. Advice on Safer Sex and Safer Use incl. Complete study of social work/pedagogy (FH) or comparable qualification Professional experience in work with women who are following sex work, people with substance use disorders and/or otherwise mentally ill people and/or homeless people Knowledge of Bulgarian, Slovak, Turkish, Hungarian and/or Romanian languages is desirable High load capacity, social competence and enforcement capability An accepting and diversified attitude High ambiguity tolerance knowledge of communication and intervention techniques, Organisational skills and flexibility as well as ready-to-use PC skills and strong willingness to carry out administrative tasks related to documentation Willingness to work mainly in afternoon and evening hours and on Saturdays For conceptual reasons, we cannot take into account applications from men.
