Workshop Manager / Operations Manager - Commercial Vehicles (m/f/d)

As responsible for our commercial vehicle workshop in Herzberg am Harz, you take over the overall responsibility for the smooth running of our commercial vehicle workshop and run a team of around 65 employees with the support of several Maintenance Planners (Kfz masters).

Employee responsibility: approx. 65 employees

Professional and disciplinary leadership of workshop staff (masters, technicians, mechanics, trainees) Organisation and control of workshop operation in multi-layer operation Ensuring scheduled, cost- and quality maintenance of commercial vehicle fleet Planning and optimization of workflows, capacities and resources Responsibility for occupational safety, environmental and quality standards Close cooperation with adjacent areas (disposition, purchasing, fleet management) Control of external service providers and suppliers Participation in investment and budget planning Promotion and further development of employees (coaching, training, promotion of young people)

Multiannual experience in commercial vehicles, ideally with trucks & trailers Completed commercial or technical training, study or master training Multiannual professional experience in a commercial vehicle workshop or a comparable environment Experience in leading larger teams, ideally with more than 45 employees Finded knowledge of workshop control, shift operation and organization of complex operations Outstanding leadership competence, enforcement strength and communication skills High social competence and responsible and resilient personality Structured, solution-oriented mode of operation with hands-on mentality Analytical thinkability and experience in control of key figures Experience in change and process management of advantage
