Segment Manager Production / Project Manager Plant Development (m/f/d)

Production control: Responsibility for a specific production segment in wheel set and component production, with the production methods turning, grinding, milling and joining in the friction lock method, at the Ilsenburg site. Factory development and CVP: Management of Process Optimization (Lean Management) projects and the strategic development of the manufacturing structures, plant performance and productivity. Operational factory control: support for overall responsibility for production processes, in particular ensuring efficient and timely production while maintaining strict quality standards for rail transport. Representation function: Complete takeover of the tasks of the factory management in their absence, including the representation of the site vis-à-vis the management and external partners. Resource Management: Planning and monitoring the effective use of personnel, machinery and material as well as ensuring maintenance. Personnel management: motivation and professional guidance of the teams in production and the adjacent areas (e.g. test stands). HSE & Compliance: Ensuring occupational safety, environmental protection and compliance with statutory and internal guidelines at the site. Qualification: Complete studies in mechanical engineering, rail vehicle engineering or comparable technical training focusing on technology and production technology. Experience: Multiannual professional and leadership experience in a manufacturing company (ideally metal processing or railway technology). Methods: Funded knowledge of KVP methods, Six Sigma or Lean Production as well as experience in project management.
