We are looking for you to build, operate and continuously develop our Linux-based IT infrastructure

Senior Systems Engineer Linux (m/w/d) in full time (40h/week). At JACOB you take responsibility for our system architecture, operate and optimise complex infrastructures and integrate modern technologies such as container and orchestration solutions. You work closely with development teams, bring your expertise into technical decisions and actively promote the quality and sustainability of our IT landscape.

Your tasks:

Building and developing a sustainable target architecture and implementing technical solutions along clear priorities Operation, administration and maintenance of the responsible infrastructure including Support for internal and external stakeholders Implementation of Proof of Concepts and seamless integration of new systems and technologies into existing infrastructure Creation and review of technical concepts, decision templates and documentation Continuous advancement of infrastructure quality and technical development Consulting and support of developer teams as well as function as technical contact for internal and external stakeholders Planning of technical tasks and transparent progress communication

Which skills you should bring: You like the Monty-Python works and are so sensitive to playing and jokes You think salmon slices to a name scheme meeting are absolutely plausible You simply consider technical lashes as a kind of small talk You are a fan of rituals and would very much welcome a firm Dönerstag (also meatless) You have received your Techpriester christmas and are able to satisfy even demanding machine spirits You're raising humour as an extremely important competence and setting a pleasant working environment at the top You treat others kindly and respectfully and want to be treated yourself like that You have certain knowledge of German deescalation – and a class B driving licence to drive to the data center 200m away You enjoy having room for action and trying out new technologies You bring a lot of experience in Linux Server/Services, Network and our Tech Stack
