From optical and electronic components, we develop optronic observation systems that reliably fulfill their performance data even under very difficult environmental conditions, such as strong vibration and at extreme temperatures. In cooperation with other development areas, integrated, electromechanically-stabilized education and observation systems for submarines and marine vehicles are created in the multispectral area.

Development of hardware components power electronics, mixed analog-digital circuits (OpAmp, ADC, DAC, FPGA, power MOSFETs, converters and switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) with and without PFC, as well as power-electronic circuits, e.g. for motor control, from requirement definition to series maturity and with respect to IPC/VDE/MIL/EMV standards PCB layout design with SMD fine-pitch, BGA, FBGA and TH technology Design of multilayer boards with impedance-controlled lines for HF signals Creation of concepts taking into account functional, economic and temporal requirements tuning of the mechatronics and software interfaces (including firmware) Development and integration of electronic components/systems for video processing and system communication (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, I2C) Specification of electronic components/systems as part of duty/load specifications up to the definition of qualifying tests Creation of complete electronics production documents (switching plans, multilayer layouts, placement plans, piece lists, test specifications) Determination of test requirements, design of prototypes and participation in engineering and qualification tests Support and support of external development partners, evaluation and optimization of the offers in terms of cost and performance (functional description and testing) Accompanying the production start and support of the series
