Werkstudent (m|w|d) - Digital Engineering / CAE Job ID 77715 | Location Heidenheim | Start now for 6 months | up to 18h weekly Voith Hydro uses the CAE System Engineering Base (EB), a modern and powerful engineering platform that efficiently plans complete hydropower plants as functional digital twins. For temporary support of our central support team at Voith Hydro Holding GmbH & Co. KG, we are looking for a dedicated student for the following tasks. Your tasks As part of the global EB support team, you actively participate in international projects. After a comprehensive integration by the support team, you take responsible tasks in handling EB. In the course of your activity, you will learn to work with objects, shapes and attributes and will update technical flow and switching plans that serve as a basis for work worldwide. You also make sure that content is available in system texts and selection lists in multiple languages and if necessary adjust the dictionaries. The team benefits from your support in creating new work templates for automation. At the same time, you will gain insight into the functional construction of hydropower plants and the power plant identification system (KKS). You will also review and update our “HowTo” guides – clear step-by-step instructions in English for EB users. Our English-language training documents, which are used for training and as reference works, are also updated. Your profile You are a student (m/w/d) of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology Mechatronics or a comparable degree program. You want to get to know the work with an extremely modern object-oriented CAE system. Ideally, you might even have first experiences with such a system. With your analytical skills, your structured working and quick understanding, you can solve problems well and keep an overview of complex tasks. You are able to easily and understand more complex facts in writing and graphically. Thanks to your safe handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, you are able to create appealing and well-comprehensible presentations. You are communicative and have very good English knowledge in word and writing. A high degree of curiosity, initiative and reliability complete your profile.
