Above all, digitization and the SW defined vehicle are driving this change and leads to changing challenges and the following necessary measures. The “CarIT Security Rollout” team is responsible for integrating the CarIT Security features into the Baselayer SW and testing the control units. The regular execution of SW tests, the analysis of test reports and the execution of causes analyses is a core task of our team and ensures the SW quality of our products. As a student with structured and quality-related orientation and digital affinity, you can support the varied and exciting activities of the “CarIT Security Rollout” team in their daily needs. Your tasks include: Test preparation support in our test laboratory

Care and structuring of test documentation

Conducting tests including fault detection and error documentation

Test reports including detection and documentation of relevant deviations

Analysis of test results including Cause analysis

Communication and coordination in the team

Maintenance of test documentation in Jira, Confluence or comparable tools

The activity can begin from August 2026.

Course in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Basic knowledge in SW development (C, C++, Python)

Basic understanding of software and system tests

Basic technical understanding of vehicle networking and for embedded systems

Experience handling of GitHub and JIRA

Experience with AUTOSAR and DaVinci Configurator
