Your new sphere of action

As a social worker / social education (w/m/d) in school social work at the secondary school III in Zeitz you accompany young people in their school life and support them with personal, social and school challenges. Together with the school management, teachers and regional network partners, you create a positive learning and living environment and promote the individual development of students.

Your New Task

• Beratung und accompaniment by pupils with personal, social and school challenges
• Support for conflicts and implementation of crisis interventions and deescaling measures
• Consulting teachers in dealing with challenging students, pupils and class situations
• Consultation and exchange with Acts of Education and placement of appropriate Support offers
• Planning and implementation of prevention, group and project offers to promote social skills
• Network work and cooperation with youth assistance, counselling centres and other regional cooperation partners
• Enge cooperation with school management, teachers and external professionals for the holistic promotion of pupils
• documentation of pedagogical work and assistance at further development of social work

Your profile

• Completed study of Social work, Social education or comparable qualification
• Ideally Occupational experience in school social work, youth assistance or a comparable work field
• knowledge of Case management and Consultation and Case intervention -Expressed Communication and Consultation Competence and a safe and valuable occurrence
• Selfemployed, structured and responsible working
• Teaming, Organizational and Freude at interdisciplinary cooperation
• Secure handling of MS Office
• Guide type B as well as Commission for Use of own car**
• Remarkable is the membership of a Christian church belonging to the working community of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany
