Senior IT Administrator - Databases / Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the stable operation and the strategic further development of our database landscape (MS SQL, Oracle) and are working with external service providers. You design and optimize our datawarehouse and reporting solutions and ensure the smooth connection of all relevant data interfaces. You take over the independent planning and management of IT infrastructure projects – from conception to implementation to successful completion. You actively manage and shape our central IT infrastructure based on VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS and DHCP. You continuously analyze and optimize the performance and safety of the systems and create technical documentation for our GMP-regulated environment. As a technical expert, you act as a central escalation entity for 3rd-level support and integrate new IT solutions into the existing system landscape.

You have a degree in computer science, a comparable qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in the administration of complex IT infrastructures. You have well-founded experience in the planning, implementation and support of database infrastructures (probably MS SQL, Oracle) and datawarehouse systems. You know very well with VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory as well as DNS and DHCP configurations. Gather points with experience in areas such as Google Cloud (GCP), Citrix, Backup & Recovery, Linux or GMP-regulated environments.
