As a key account manager, you take the overall responsibility for the care and development of our customer Edeka and actively shape the cooperation – from strategic planning to implementation at the POS You are responsible for the sales, earnings and distribution goals and ensure compliance with the pricing and condition policy of your customer You conduct annual talks, negotiate terms and tax all corporate and investment decisions You develop customer strategies and plans on your own, expand the business relationship with Edeka and record new assortments and innovations Together with Marketing & Trade Marketing, you control national and regional activation measures and coordinate implementation with all relevant interfaces (e.g. field service, MRP, marketing, product management) You analyze customer and market data (together with Insights & Controlling) and take measures for selection, price or distribution decisions In addition, you will report relevant KPIs, first forecasts and take over the sales and budget planning for your area of responsibility

You have a degree in business management or a comparable qualification – and you have at least five years of experience in key account management at LEH (ideally focusing on a national customer; Experiences in the FMCG or food sector are a plus) You have a deep understanding of the structures and processes in food retailing and know the trade logic in the German LEH – from annual talks to WKZ Dealing with trading panels (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, GfK) is familiar to you or you are ready to work in quickly You negotiate sovereignly, think strategically and trade entrepreneurially – you never lose sight of the needs of your customers You can safely analyze numbers and data and derive concrete measures for assortment, distribution or pricing You work independently and structured, but you actively seek cooperation with internal interfaces You have a desire and joy to take responsibility in a dynamic, growing environment It goes without saying that you bring travel (including occasional evening events or fairs) You master MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) and have very good English skills in word and font
