Development Engineer (m/f/d)

As a development engineer (m/w/d) for FPGA in our team, you are responsible for the development and implementation of modern FPGA designs that raise technological solutions to a new level. In a dynamic environment in Ulm, you contribute to realising complex system architectures, developing innovative technologies and ensuring that products of the highest quality are created. Your tasks in detail: the design and implementation of FPGA designs specifically for Electronic Warfare (EW) applications optimizing and implementing signal processing algorithms in VHDL and C verification of design and functional testing in hardware testing and commissioning of the functions on the target hardware cooperation in system integration, verification and qualification support in creating the complete design, request and verification documentation

To be successful as a FPGA development engineer (m/w/d), you need a sound technical knowledge and practical experience in the development of FPGAs. This position requires analytical thinking, team capacity and a high degree of sense of responsibility. Our requirements for you: a completed study of electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field first professional experience in the design and development of FPGAs Experience in handling FPGA manufacturer tools Experience with high-level synthesis and relevant tools very good knowledge of VHDL and FPGA architecture as well as digital circuit technology Knowledge about the implementation of algorithms in FPGAs / ASICs knowledge of German and English
