Student trainee in Data Science in Hardware Complexity Management (m/f/d)

Strengthen our Complexity Management division in Munich (Germany) at the next possible time. Participation in the company-wide strategic initiative ''Hardware Complexity Management'' to systematically reduce component diversity across the Group with special focus on data science tasks:

• Acquisition, merger and processing of technical data in close cooperation with the team

• Cleaning and aggregation of data and translation into key figures and visualizations

• Preparation of results in clear reports and short presentations

• Automation and quality: support in the design of the evaluations by script, as well as data and result quality assurance through systematic checks and counter invoices

• Documentation & Storage: Structured Folder/File Care, Documentation via SOPs/in Confluence

• Recording requirements in close coordination with team members and relevant stakeholders

• If necessary, help with the technical data search (data sheets, manufacturer pages, drawings) for hardware components

• Studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering with a strong focus on data analysis/programming

• Secure programming knowledge for data processing and visualizations: preferably R including relevant libraries such as tidyverse, optional Python and pandas

• Secure knowledge with current MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Basic knowledge with pivot tables and Excel macros

• Ideally first experiences with database queries and SAP

• Experience in handling LLMs (senseful use, limitations, critical check results)

• Careful, quality-oriented operation: systematic checks, own and external results critically check, documentation

• Communication strength: Record requirements, ask questions, prepare results

• independent work and prioritization of tasks

• Joy of creative problem solving

• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
