To support our team in the Department of Industrial Engineering, we are looking for you as a transport engineer (w/m/d) for project planning and project management of traffic control systems. In the field of operating technology, systems for traffic control at motorways are implemented and optimized. These provide, for example, information to the motor driver (w/m/d) via electronic displays on shield bridges over the roadway in order to detect disturbances or/or Overloading of motorway sections to inform traffic participants (w/m/d) at an early stage and to indicate alternative routes. In addition, we work on exciting projects such as the introduction of telematic parking facilities in order to optimize the utilization of the available parking spaces.

Project management for planning and construction in the case of re-, ex- and new construction measures of traffic-telematic installations at federal motorways Planning and tendering of retrofit measures and framework agreements for traffic control systems with the participation of third parties Software development or adaptation for traffic control systems and special installations Assessment and processing of traffic control systems in flowing and resting traffic

Complete university studies in the field of transport, transport engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, communications technology or comparable field of expertise or acquired by professional experience, equivalent suitability Very good German language skills in word and writing (min. level C1 to GER/CEFR) Class B driving licence and the readiness to travel That would be desirable: Multiannual experience in transport telematics, traffic management, information technology or communication technology Good knowledge of procurement Knowledge of a higher programming language Your personal strengths include: Happy work in the team Engaged, reliable, responsible, independent operation Safe, binding occurrence, negotiation skills and enforcement Embossed social and communicative competence
