Technician/Engineer as CE Standards Officer in Special Machine Construction (m/f/d)

The focus of your work is the support of demanding special machines through the entire CE conformity process – from the early development phase to complete technical documentation. With the creation and coordination of risk assessments and risk analysis, you make an important contribution to identifying possible risks at an early stage and allowing appropriate protection measures to be included in the development. As a technical interface, you evaluate machines and assemblies with respect to relevant directives, regulations and standards and give the relevant specialist areas clear orientation for safe technical implementation. The position is particularly varied thanks to the close cooperation with design, electrical engineering and automation: safety requirements are not only tested at the end of the project, but are already actively considered during development. The creation and testing of CE-relevant documents is also part of your responsibility, so that proofs, evaluations and conformity documentation are fully and comprehensible. New legal requirements and changes in the standard environment keep you constantly in mind and transfer relevant developments to existing processes and future machine projects.

A further development of the technician in the fields of machine engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology or a completed engineering study in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, control and control technology or robotics forms the technical basis for this position. Experience with CE conformity procedures, risk assessments and the requirements of machine safety allows you to quickly enter the diverse machine projects. Knowledge of relevant standards such as EN ISO 12100 and ideally EN ISO 13849 help to evaluate technical risks in a structured manner and to derive appropriate protective measures together with the departments. A good understanding of mechanical, electrical and automation relationships makes it easier for you to fully consider safety requirements and to develop practical solutions.
