for people with a so-called mental disability in Berlin-Reinickendorf and Berlin-Mitte (80-100% working time, unlimited)

The gGmbH supports people with mental illnesses, dependency disorders and people with a so-called mental disability. We understand our work as a contribution to living participation and self-determination by continuously evolving with projects such as the “culture change in integration aid”.

For our area for people with a so-called mental disability, we are looking for a dedicated, professionally versed and powerful personality as an area management.

You take over the management of an evolving area with:

a special housing with 26 seats with 4 seats as well as a new project with several housing communities (total of 7 seats)

Together with around 45 employees, you will create a living environment that allows for the greatest possible self-determination, participation and individual development – even for people who occasionally show challenging behavior.

Your duties

Technical, personnel, organisational and economic overall responsibility for the area and coordination with management Leadership, support and further development of employees Active participation in the management board of the organisation Control and further development of technical concepts Cooperation with financial institutions and authorities Professional guidance of employees Implementation and further development of quality management Construction, implementation and conceptual support of the new WG project

Complete study of social work, social education with state recognition, medical education or rehabilitation education (Diplom, Bachelor or Master) Multiannual experience in working with people with a so-called mental disability Management experience or strong leadership competence Business knowledge or willingness to acquire it Funded social legislation (in particular integration aid) Structured, responsible and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength, eagerness to decide and reflectivity
