Our laboratory team is looking for one/n

BTA/ CTA/ Laboratory Technician Sanger - (m/w/d) Place of work: Leipzig As Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in the Sanger area, you are responsible for the preparation and execution of sequencing courses. These are your tasks

Unpack, sort and capture customer samples. application of various molecular biological methods such as PCR, plasmid preparation, PCR purification, Gelelectrophoresis, Rolling-circle-amplification. Creating DNA libraries and performing quality controls for sequencing. Operation and routine maintenance of pipetting robots and sequencing devices of various technologies (Sanger sequence). Conducting laboratory processes under certified and/or accredited conditions. Manufacture of solutions. Keeping and documenting consumables, reagents and chemicals. Create and update SOPs.

Successfully completed training as BTA, CTA, MTA, Biology or Chemistry Laboratory. They are cross-comers with laboratory experience and are looking for a new challenge. Experience in handling pipettes of advantage. They are ready to work in 2-shift operation (break and night shift). They bring a high self-motivation and team spirit. They are characterized by independent, efficient and very accurate operation. You know yourself in the application of MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel). Flowing German knowledge. Solid basic knowledge in English. (These can be extended later in one of our online language courses offered.)
