As part of the research project “AI-TME” funded by the German Cancer Aid (DKH) on the development and evaluation of AI-based approaches in colorectal surgery, you play a central role in the scientific coordination, development and dissemination of the interdisciplinary research project. Scientific coordination and control of the research project: independent planning, coordination and monitoring of project-related workflows, milestones and resources as well as continuous monitoring of project progress and development of appropriate measures in case of deviations or delays Interdisciplinary and interinstitutional cooperation: expert coordination with the participating surgical institutions, project promoters and mid-suppliers and coordination of cooperation between the areas of surgery, computer science and other project partners Methodological quality assurance and scientific advice: combining and quality assurance of multicentric data and results, ensuring methodological consistency, comparability, reproducibility and FAIR conformity, as well as consulting the project management and consortial partners on study design, evaluation strategies and results interpretation Conceptual development of the research project: analysis of the national and international research stand as well as regulatory developments in artificial intelligence in colorectal surgery, development of further research issues and new project approaches, as well as the conception of follow-up and follow-up applications Preparation and Dissemination of Research Results: Compilation of Scientific Intermediate and Final Reports, Preparation and Implementation of Consortial Meetings and Development of Publications, Abstracts and Conference Contributions and Presentation of Results to Cooperation Partners and the Publicity
