Senior EHS Specialist

Active promotion of a safety-conscious corporate culture through role model function, positive reinforcement of safe conduct and active response of unsafe actions Supporting the “Etex” philosophy by participating in local, national and regional EHS meetings to promote best practices and knowledge sharing Observation and assessment of changes to legal regulations and internal standards and information of relevant executives to ensure legal compliance Maintenance and management of EHS data and derivation of trends and potential for improvement. Participation in continuous improvement processes in EHS Cooperation with managers to optimize risk assessments and work instructions. Support in implementing Etex standards at site level Representation of the EHS department in internal and external audits and in regulatory inspections Support in managing external service providers Ensuring proper follow-up and implementation of incident investigations, audits and other EHS processes Participation in projects under the Performance Plan with focus on risk mitigation

Complete training or studies in the field of occupational safety, environmental management, safety engineering or comparable Professional experience as a specialist in occupational safety and fire protection Ideally knowledge in the Water Budget Act Additional qualification as a hazardous material officer according to GefStoffV and safety and health coordinators according to RAB 30 at construction sites Knowledge of the handling of statutory provisions in the field of occupational safety and environmental protection Good communication skills, safe occurrence and team skills Very good organizational skills and a structured, independent working Safe handling of MS Office and experience with EHS management systems Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
