Senior Tax Manager (m/w/d) Kassel Hybrid, DE Full time - unlimited The Global Tax Team at SMA in Kassel is looking for you as a senior tax manager to support complex tax issues in the daily business and to ensure tax compliance in the company. Global Tax is responsible for SMA's tax control and compliance. Global Tax works closely with Finance, Legal and our international companies and thinks taxes as part of corporate responsibility. Your focus is on tax calculations, the supervision of audits and the timely creation of tax returns and intercompany notifications. In addition, you advise on projects with tax relevance throughout the Group.

Tax support of domestic and foreign companies Sparring partners for colleagues and the Head of Taxes Support in the design of the international billing price policy and the creation of the billing price documentation Accompanying internal projects (e.g. reorganisations, SAP launch abroad) Maintenance of audits - incl. payroll tax and sales tax special checks Advising the German group companies with regard to turnover tax, income taxes (including wage and capital income tax) Calculation of the tax burden for the local and international conclusion Examination and creation of tax returns Conduct legal proceedings or their initiation and accompaniment Implementation of internal tax training

Studies in Economics or Law with a focus on taxes At least 5 years of professional experience in a tax advisory office or in the tax department of an internationally oriented company Knowledge of national and international tax law Advantageously successfully completed tax consultant exams English language skills Self-employed and reliable operation Team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills
