What you do with us
Their area of responsibility includes the processing and acquisition of research projects focusing on future battery types such as metal ions and solid-state batteries. The targeted optimization of material and component properties as well as the further development of associated processing processes play an essential role. Explicitly this includes both the material development of slurries and the production of electrodes carried out therewith by means of knife coating or screen printing as well as the cell assembly with the components produced. Together with the team, you are working on the development of new research topics in the field of energy storage. This also includes the support of graduates and the guidance of student assistants.
What you bring
- Completed university studies (or completed doctorate) with a focus on chemistry, physics, materials science, production technology or a comparable degree course
- Previous knowledge in the field of electrical energy storage, ideally in the field of sodium ion batteries
- Expertise in electrochemical investigation methods such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclovoltammetry
- Experience in handling water- and air-sensitive materials and related work on gloveboxes
- Very good communication and organizational skills
