Lead Accountant (m/f/d)

You are responsible for creating the monthly and annual accounts of currently 3 Legal Entities according to HGB and ensure their quality; You also actively promote the further development of IFRS reporting to the parent company You conduct the coordination, maintenance and optimization of the accounts and the execution of delimitation bookings and secure a smooth accounting structure (main accounting responsibility) You control and monitor all payment transactions, secure and take a leading role in monthly liquidity planning and their further development You are responsible for the timely creation of sales tax pre-registrations, annual reports including trials and other relevant reports and ensure their compliance You coordinate preparatory work for tax advisors and take on the professional responsibility for audits including coordination with external stakeholders You conduct internal processes for process optimization and digitization within financial accounting, drive automation potentials and set standards You act as a professional lead for the accounting team and contact for DATEV in the team, and you are also responsible for plant accounting and their continuous optimization

Completed studies of business management, economics or comparable commercial training with further education (e.g. balance sheet holder) At least 7 years of professional experience in financial accounting, of which ideally 2+ years in a leadership role or as an alternate Founded HGB knowledge and practical experience in the production of annual accounts (even for several legal entities) IFRS identifiers or the proven readiness and ability to acquire quickly-founded IFRS expertise Secure DATEV knowledge and experience in system support First leadership experience or strong willingness to take over leadership responsibility Structured, solution-oriented operation with high self-responsibility and quality standards Very good German and English skills (vote and reporting to UK)
