Physicist (f/m/d)
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) – The University in the Helmholtz Association In close partnership with society, KIT develops solutions for challenges – from climate change, energy transition and sustainable use of natural resources to artificial intelligence, balancing and an aging population. As The University in the Helmholtz Association, KIT unites scientific from insight to application-driven research under one roof – and is thus in a unique position to drive this transformation. As a University of Excellence, KIT offers its more than 10,000 employees and 22,800 students outstanding opportunities to shape a sustainable and resilient future. KIT – Science for Impact. The Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research Atmospheric Aerosol Research (IMKAAF) conducts research on atmospheric aerosol processes of importance for the environment, weather, and climate. This research utilizes the worldwide unique AIDA atmospheric simulation chamber, state-of-the-art laboratory experiments, and innovative mobile measurement devices. Currently, the new 75 m3 large atmospheric simulation chamber AIDAc2 is constructed and implemented. For the instrumentation starting from summer 2026 we seek for an aerosol physicist supporting us in planning and implementing instruments for aerosol generation and measurement. Physicist (f/m/d) Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research Atmospheric Aerosol Research (IMKAAF) 2 years as soon as possible Full time 62,000.00 to 71,200.00 EUR per year
