SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER FOR ELECTRONICS, EMBEDDED AND SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS (m/f/d)

You guide complex electronics, embedded and system development projects across the entire product life cycle, from the supply phase to the development and industrialization to series support. You are responsible for dates, costs, resources and quality, recognize deviations at an early stage and, together with your project team, decide which measures the projet targets are most effective. You are the central interface between customers, development, quality, purchasing, production and management, bringing together different interests to clear priorities and sustainable decisions. You analyze complex technical questions, evaluate their impact on the overall project and derive concrete action options as well as the next steps. You control requirements, changes, risks, problems and configurations and consistently follow actions. You consistently apply the processes relevant to the project, tax reviews and maturity assessments and, together with the relevant departments, ensure that the defined project, maturity, audit and quality objectives are achieved. You identify potential for improvement in processes, methods and procedures and successfully implement suitable optimizations together with the areas involved. You support project managers in their professional development, share your experience from challenging projects and promote knowledge transfer in the project management environment.

A completed technical study, for example in electrical engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems engineering, or a comparable technical field. Multiannual experience in managing complex technical development projects, ideally in the field of electronics, embedded or system development in the industrial or automotive environment. Experience in the development of electronics and/or embedded, as well as a sound understanding of technical and systemic relationships, combined with openness to new technologies, methods and development approaches. Experience with structured development, change, risk and quality processes as well as industry-specific requirements and standards, for example in the automotive environment based on ASPICE or in comparable sophisticated development environments. A structured, self-sponsored and conversion-oriented mode of operation as well as pronounced communication strength in the interdisciplinary environment. A safe and practical handling of project management methods; certification according to PMI/PMP or IPMA is desirable. Safe handling of JIRA, Confluence and MS Office as well as good German and English skills. The compensation is based on the collective agreement of the Lower Saxony Metall. The grouping takes place according to the professional qualification, professional experience and the knowledge and skills involved within the pay groups E10 to E12.
