Training as a veterinary hygiene inspector and official assistant (f/m/d) at the Veterinary Office in the district of Konstanz

Use your experience in agriculture or veterinary medicine for responsible activity in veterinary hygiene control: We offer a dual training for veterinary hygiene control or veterinary hygiene control (w/m/d) at the next possible time, with the use as an official assistant in the veterinary office Radolfzell. She expects a practical training with an excellent combination of theory and professional practice, as well as attractive perspectives in a future-proof, socially relevant professional field.

Independent and responsible monitoring of animal welfare rules. Conducting systematic cross compliance controls. Animal health surveillance and participation in animal health control. Collection of control activities and assessment of facts in accordance with legal provisions. Introduction of administrative, judicial and criminal proceedings. Monitoring veterinary medicinal products, animal by-product traffic and animal transport in European/international trade. Food and animal welfare controls at the local slaughterhouse (in the four-week change on two days for a few hours). Execution of the Trichinella examination in the Central Laboratory of the Veterinary Office.

Training and qualification: Real-school completion as well as completed training as a farmer, veterinarian/specialist (TFA), veterinarian/technical assistant (VMTA), farmer or similar. Experience and knowledge: Two years of relevant professional experience.

Safe handling of MS Office applications. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing.

Qualified dual vocational training: 12-month training, consisting of a practical part in the Veterinary Office and two theoretical seminar blocks at the Landesakademie für Veterinary and Food Sciences in Stuttgart. After 12 months of practical use in the Veterinary Office Radolfzell as official assistance.
