Coordination of reception requests and accommodation processes Selection, preparation and professional support of pedagogical professionals who support children in their family around the clock Accompanying contacts and activating parent work Design and documentation of aid processes Preparation of return or transfer to a permanent life situation for the child tackling crisis situations Oversight of indwelling educators Moderation and design of team processes Ensuring the implementation of quality standards

State recognition as a social teacher or equivalent training Knowledge of the Berlin administrative structures, legal basis (SGB VIII / KJSG, BGB, procedural law) and child protection Experience in dealing with children and knowledge of the development needs of children who have already suffered disadvantages Systemic basic attitude with reference to knowledge of binding theory (among others Crittenden) and the life-world orientation (Thiersch) Careful and respectful handling of children Valuable and resource-oriented attitude towards the family of origin Responsible and transparent action Ability to reflect and self-reflection Tolerance to different life designs and to diverse cultural and religious values Ability to integrate different perspectives Security in writing reports and opinions
