Project Manager in District Heating Networks and Energy Generation (m/f/d)

District heating is an elementary cornerstone of climate-neutral heat supply in cities. As project manager, you are responsible for cross-departmental projects around our district heating networks and energy production facilities. These include, in particular, expansion, transformation and decarbonization projects, the establishment and integration of new production facilities and the optimization of existing production facilities and supply systems. Your core tasks/responsibilities are: Head of cross-departmental, interdisciplinary project teams as well as coordination of the participating departments and external project partners Ensuring the agreed time, cost and quality objectives and early identification of project risks and the initiation of appropriate countermeasures Examination and assessment of technical concepts regarding feasibility, cost-effectiveness and feasibility Communication and coordination with authorities, customers, suppliers, cooperation partners and other project participants Creation and control of project sequence, resource and schedules Definition and coordination of work packages and control of relevant interfaces Participation in contract negotiations with customers, partners and service providers

You have a completed (economic) engineering degree or have a comparable training background. You bring experience in managing complex technical projects, ideally in the area of district heating, energy generation or energy infrastructure. In addition, we are happy about your/-e: independent and highly motivated work Experience in the professional management of multi-disciplinary project teams Knowledge of the planning and implementation of complex technical projects, as well as understanding of technical and economic relationships Security in handling project management methods, in particular appointment, cost, resource and risk management Teamability, ready-to-use, communication strength Flexibility, agility and negotiation skills Power of persuasion and enforcement German and very good English skills A safe handling of MS Office as well as industry-precise computer applications is a matter of course for you.
