The “System Dynamics” group within the “Actuators, Sensors, Dynamics & Control” department ensures the professional and cost-oriented design, modeling and design of dynamic architectures of mechatronic systems for lithographic optics. This includes the creation of the necessary evaluation processes and analysis algorithms, the definition of test requirements, risk management, the generation and maintenance of the relevant documentation, as well as communication with suppliers and customers for the area of responsibility.

As the head of this group, you will guide them professionally and disciplinaryly and actively ensure continuous and strategic further development. This includes the promotion and support of employee development and the planning and provision of the necessary skills and resources. It is also your task to ensure smooth cooperation with our internal interfaces and external partners, as well as to further develop and coordinate the existing development network. They will design and optimize the relevant specialist processes as well as implement and secure the technology roadmap in the team. In addition, you will communicate business decisions and the strategic orientation of the organization to the team and ensure their implementation. The activity is embedded in a development network consisting of customers, international partners of the high-tech industry and research institutions.

a successfully completed study in the field of mechatronics, aerospace, physics or a comparable study programme

over 5 years of professional experience in dynamics/control technology

Experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, external partners/suppliers and in the industrialization of products

distinct leadership competence, proven by experience in (lateral) leadership and management of teams and/or projects

a viable and decision-making working style and skill in dealing with conflicts
