The advertised position can optionally be exercised at one of our central BARMER locations: Schwäbisch Gmünd, Wuppertal, Berlin or at one of over thirty other locations in Germany.

During the 12-month trainee program you will get a comprehensive insight into the BARMER to understand organizational relationships. You will get to know the diverse facets of our business areas within the framework of hospitations and can thus lay the foundation for your professional network. Among other things, you take the first responsibility for demanding tasks and work with cross-disciplinary projects so that you have the opportunity to put your knowledge acquired in your studies into practice from the outset. They actively shape future scenarios and digital visions for healthcare, use design thinking and perform user interviews, workshops and usability tests for user-centric development of innovative products and services. Visualize ideas and concepts with Wireframes, mockups and prototypes, scout new technologies, trends and start-ups and develop approaches to improving patient care and efficiency. Furthermore, you analyze, model and optimize complex business processes sustainably and plan, control and monitor IT and innovation projects using agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban. In addition, you will get insights into software development, support testing and quality assurance and get to know modern architectures as well as agile working methods.

They have a successfully completed degree (Bachelor/Master's degree) in Business Informatics, Health Management, Economic Engineering, Media Informatics, (Digital) Design, Design, Innovation Management or a comparable subject. In addition, you will ideally bring first professional experience, for example, through an internship or working student activities in design, innovation, project management and/or IT. With German knowledge on at least C1 level, you communicate safely and professionally in a German-speaking working environment. Good knowledge of English is advantageous. A pronounced affinity for digital technologies and their use in the healthcare sector are the key. You will also bring an analytical and conceptual way of thinking and the ability to quickly capture and structure complex facts. A strong team capacity, high level of learning and performance, curiosity, proactive working methods and communication skills complete your personality.
