Together with 700 employees, we actively shape the future of REMS. For our location in Waiblingen we are looking for a dual student (m/w/d) in the field of computer science from October 2026. During the three-year study of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), you are employed at REMS GmbH & Co KG and regularly switch between the theoretical phases at the university and the practical phases in our company. You can apply your learned knowledge directly, gain exciting insights into professional practice and actively work with our IT projects. Through the close interconnection of theory and practice, you will be systematically and comprehensively prepared for entry into professional life. What you learn during the periods of theory in your studies: Basics of computer science, programming and software development Conception and management of databases and foundations of network and operating system technology Development and testing of software applications as well as analysis, conception and introduction of IT systems Protection of IT systems and data against unauthorized access Methods of project management and team work Mathematics and theoretical foundations of computer science What you learn during the practical phases at our company: Working with exciting IT and digitization projects Development, adaptation and support of software solutions Insights into the administration and development of our IT infrastructure Analysis and optimization of requirements from different business areas Cooperation with various departments and support in implementing new requirements Self-responsible work and cooperation in an experienced and collegial IT team

Abitur or (special) Higher education with good performance in computer science and mathematics Interest in IT and programming First experience through internships or other activities in technical or IT areas of advantage Very good German knowledge Analytical thinking and solution-oriented and systematic working Extensive interest in new technologies and digitalization Motivation, initiative and sense of responsibility
