The Global Cyber Security Team of the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) is looking for an intern*. The importance of cyber security has risen steadily in recent years due to more sophisticated and automated methods of attack. An example of this is the use of artificial intelligence on the part of the attackers and on the part of cyber security. MBFS's Global Cyber Security Team is also allowed to face new challenges for technological progress, such as new attack vectors. This is why we work with MB AG's global business units in a variety of areas: from governance, risk and compliance to identity and access management to offensive security. With an internship at the MBFS Global Cyber Security Team, you also have the chance to support us in our global strategic activities and our day-to-day business, so that we can meet these new challenges in the future. The opportunity to take over smaller projects

These challenges include: You support risk assessments from different markets

You support the implementation of data analyses to facilitate future assessments

You support the tracking of our identity and authorization management projects, taking on planning tasks and participating in workshops

You'll gain first experience in Threat Modelling by helping you build security profiles for our applications

You will gain insight into the world of MBM's proactive vulnerability management and help to analyze possible cyber threats

But there are also activities outside the mentioned areas where you can support us, whether in the organization of cyber security initiatives or in the continuous optimization and automation of our Jira and Confluence platform. The task focus will be coordinated with you at the beginning. The activity can begin from February 2026.

Course in Business Informatics, Computer Science or comparable courses (ideally with the focus on IT and/or Information Security)

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Experience in dealing with common Microsoft Office programs (inbes. Excel, PowerPoint), first experiences with Jira and Confluence are a plus

Ideally, you have already gained experience and a basic understanding of concepts and processes in the field of cyber security (e.g. in risk management, authorization management or security architectures)

International experience desirable

Self-working, fun at work in the team but also self-initiative and strong communication skills complete your profile

You can support us for at least 4-6 months
