Then you will be part of our global team as System Architect (w/m/d) Embedded Electronics to create and implement implementation concepts together with customers and partners to achieve the best commercial and technical project objectives.

Choose the best place for your work - within this point it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the working time.

This body must be filled in full or part-time with at least 30 hours/week.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You create architectures for embedded subsystems, components or assemblies with distributed functions in the hardware, software, FPGA as well as their integration into the medical device and the definition of the interfaces in between

• They are responsible for estimating the development and unit costs as well as the realization time for the developed architectures. The focus is on the optimization of architectures with regard to standardization, sustainability and the optimal total cost

• They are responsible for identifying technical risks of selected architecture and defining countermeasures for risk mitigation and ensuring technical quality

• They also assume the technical responsibility for a technology field or key customer of Medical Electronics (ME)

• They accompany the implementation of architectural concepts in our development projects and actively contribute to the review of development results and the coaching of development teams during the implementation phase

• They are responsible for observing the market and technical development in ME's technology fields as well as defining pre-development projects to ensure that ME's technology portfolio is always state of the art

Your qualifications and experience:****

• They have completed their studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable discipline

• You can demonstrate many years of professional experience in a development department in the electronics field of an industrial company, at best in the medical technology industry

• In addition, you have already gained experience in the architecture of embedded components and their system integration

• To this end, you will bring broad knowledge of the current technologies for the realization of embedded systems, in particular in processor, network technology and software with

• They have good technical knowledge in the areas of hardware, software (focus on Linux), FPGA, communication and functional safety
