Life is always about becoming... In life it is about going on a journey to become the best version of our future self. As we discover new things, we face challenges, master them and grow beyond us.

Apply to Mercedes-Benz and find the area where you can develop your talents individually. You will be supported by visionary colleagues who share your pioneering spirit. Joining us means becoming part of a global team whose goal is to build the most desirable cars in the world. Together for excellence.

Number: MER00044EK You will get insights into the tasks of our team in developing and securing testing and commissioning procedures for driver assistance systems of the next generation of vehicles. The focus is on radar, LiDAR and camera sensors that are required for modern driver assistance and automated driving functions. Together with our experts, you analyze requirements for the E/E operation of these systems and develop test cases to verify their functionality, diagnostic capability and calibratability. Support the protection of vehicle functions across the entire product production process – from first development vehicles to test carriers to series production. You evaluate test results, analyze fault images and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and commissioning processes. A special focus is on the interaction of sensor technology, control units, diagnostic systems and vehicle architectures. The findings provide a direct contribution to the quality and maturity of modern driver assistance systems in vehicle development and production. These challenges include: Analysis of requirements for radar, LiDAR and camera sensors and their commissioning processes

Definition, specification and documentation of test cases to secure ADAS sensors

Planning, organisation and execution of tests on development, pre-production and testing vehicles

Support in the analysis of diagnostic functions, communication interfaces and fault images

Implementation and evaluation of measurement and test campaigns to evaluate sensor functionality

Cooperation in securing calibration and reference methods for driver assistance sensors

Analysis and preparation of test results and derivation of optimization measures

Development of evaluation tools and automation solutions for more efficient testing

Cooperation with development, production and supplier teams in the international environment

The activity can begin from September 2026 and is limited for 6 months.
