The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Essen is one of the most recent locations of the SOS Children's Village. In April 2016, facilities were created to accommodate unaccompanied minor refugees. In January 2018, the SOS Children's Village Centre established itself with an open neighbourhood café, various forms of social group work for children aged 6-15 and another group of homes. District-oriented work for children, young people and their families shapes the offer in Essen. In the SOS Children's Village of Essen we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/Where.) Our KiTa Knifte in Essen-Stoppenberg offers space for 113 children from 4 months, distributed in two lovingly designed locations: the main house and the natural courtyard. We focus on the open concept in which the targeted use of toys supports the development of children. Your task: Your tasks include: loving, attentive and individual accompaniment of children, on their way to self-confident, independent and strong individuals Implementation of lived participation in everyday pedagogical life Designing learning-enhancing and development-promoting educational areas in the context of the toy-reduced kita to develop learning joy and promote learning skills Implementation of the inclusion concept as well as the culturally sensitive approach and gender-open and diversified pedagogy with the emphasis on awareness of ethnic, cultural and sexual diversity Design of holistic development processes in close educational and educational partnership with reference persons agile team work conscientious implementation of child and care protection
