Our customer in Düsseldorf-Benrath is one of the world's leading suppliers of innovative crane and material handling solutions for the industry. We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Automation Technology (m/w/d) (m/w/d) Industry Supplements for IG-MetallElectro-Tarifvertrag.

You assume the technical responsibility for the development, development and modernisation of innovative crane controls. You develop new control solutions and migrate existing automation systems to future-oriented platforms. You specify, implement and validate safety-related functions. You plan and accompany system tests, verifications and the technical validation of the developed solutions. As a specialist contact person (m/w/d) you support the development team through mentoring and active knowledge transfer. If necessary, You accompany international commissioning and ensure the successful implementation of the developed control solutions.

You have completed their studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, technical informatics or a comparable discipline. You have several years of experience in the development of PLC-based automation solutions and have well-founded knowledge of IEC 61131-3, ideally with CODESYS V3.5, ABB Automation Builder AC500 and Siemens STEP7 Classic. You have experience in the development of safety-related controls and are familiar with the relevant standards, for example EN ISO 13849, IEC 62061 or IEC 61508. You are happy to pass on your expertise, take on professional responsibility and communicate safely in German and English. Ideally, you have practical experience in machine or crane construction. Alternatively, you can convince with a comparable technical background, for example from the special machine construction or the automotive industry. Knowledge in Siemens S5, the modernization of existing control systems as well as experiences with SAP, team center and the common MS Office applications are of advantage. An occasional international readiness (under 20%) completes your profile.
