Coordination and responsibility of the entire tool procurement process up to handover to production Creation of detailed specifications for high-quality and production optimized plastic injection molding tools Evaluation and optimization of tool constructions Assessment of plastic parts with regard to a component construction suitable for production performing or evaluating filling and drawing simulations for optimizing the tool construction Optimization of injection molding processes for efficient production of high-quality plastic parts Evaluation and selection of new tool suppliers Installation and maintenance of all tool data in SAP Creation of feasibility studies and cost analyses to support strategic decisions Technical support in the introduction of new products and processes Close cooperation with product development, purchasing and production

Successfully completed studies in the field of plastics technology, process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification As an alternative to state-tested technicians with long-term professional experience, ideally with a completed training to the tool mechanic or process engineer/in plastic injection moulding Long-standing professional experience in the design of injection molding tools and injection molding technology of plastic parts Knowledge of the implementation and evaluation of filling simulations Experience in project management and cooperation with suppliers Passion for production and automation technology Self-employed, structured working methods as well as pronounced analytical skills and problem-solving competence Safe appearance, very good communication skills as well as team spirit and resilience Secure handling of MS Office, PLM systems and SAP CAD knowledge is desirable Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Travel readiness (approx. 1 week per month)
