With the MB.OS End-to-End E/E Software-Journey project, we design new processes and IT products to bring MB.OS software into the vehicle in ever shorter cycles over-the-air, anywhere in the world: from the development environment to prototype vehicles, the extensive series use in the global production plants and in customer vehicle updates over-the-air in all markets. The End-to-End E/E Software-Journey project deals with the path that a software will travel from completion to use in the vehicle: Documentation and storage of software into the central repository

We look at the complete lifecycle of our vehicles from vehicle development and testing, series production and vehicles at the customer as well as workshop visits. The new processes and IT solutions of the End-to-End E/E Software-Journey are designed in a cross-functional project team together with employees from the Research & Development, Production, Sales and After-Sales departments. The project is organized according to the scaled-agile approach model SAFe. We would like to give you insight into this exciting project and look forward to your support! What awaits you with us as a working student*in: Analysis of customer requirements regarding evaluations on our broad treasure of data from development, production and after-sales

Deeper data analysis (Azure Databricks) and analysis of process sequences

Support and creative design of KPIs to control the solution, ARTs and products

KPI-Owner from the Mood-Board in the department

Involving into foreign labour management and transferring governance tasks in this context

Revision and updating of Intranet pages

Video editing of team interviews

Creating and preparing management presentations

Organisation, preparation and implementation of major project events

The activity can start from 08/2026.

Course ideally in the field of computer science, business informatics, media informatics, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study

You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing as well as a good style of writing

Safe handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and teams desirable

Interest beyond a semester to be part of our team

Basic understanding of relational databases

Knowledge in the database query language SQL

Understanding software development for vehicle control devices

You are in the digital environment “up-to-date”

Experience with the care of content management systems and with image & video editing software

You are an organizational talent, love structured work and have combined creative and analytical skills with an enthusiastic “can do’ mentality and have a high degree of reliability and care

You have very good communication skills and have an open, competent and communicative appearance, a quick understanding and performance even under high time pressure

Representative responsibility, solution-oriented work, fun working in the team and a high quality awareness
