This makes this job interesting to me: 50Hertz is responsible for the power supply of more than 18 million people and makes a significant contribution to the energy transition. As a specialist engineer for network information and approvals, I develop solid knowledge of the high-voltage systems in my network area in Hamburg. As our lines lead over parcels of many different private and public landlords, I take care of opinions in the regulatory requirements and can understand and take into account the perspectives and concerns of different stakeholders. At the same time, I assure the knowledge and compliance of relevant regulatory and legal requirements by 50Hertz. Conversely, I also test the compatibility of foreign construction projects with our facilities and am in a lively exchange with a wide range of experts from 50Hertz. My tasks: I support technical questions on the transmission network in my network and can prepare and provide detailed information for this purpose, I shall establish binding opinions taking into account technical, legal and operational rules, I am also able to take different perspectives and take into account different interests, I create, evaluate and maintain contracts and agreements with third parties, In our databases I provide clear documentation and continuous care of all processes, I participate in discussions and support in the interpretation of network information, I carry out the continuous revision of inventory documents (cards, plans, lists, etc.) and maintain contact with local and regional offices, authorities and depots.
