Uniper Renewables is responsible for building the large-scale solar PV and wind onshore business of Uniper, mainly in Europe. The renewable energy business is one of the most important pillars of our strategic ambitions. Our goal is to achieve growth of more than 1 GW per year by 2025. The Technology & Innovation team takes responsibility for the techno-economic assessment of established and emerging business ideas in the field of renewable energies. We are looking for someone who drives innovations and is a changemaker in the field of renewable energies. We expect you to:

• Supporting all relevant functions within Uniper Renewables in continuous improvement with focus on the implementation of digital systems and modern technologies

• Discover new and emerging technologies and business ideas

• Implementation of techno-economic evaluations for new technologies or modified configurations of wind, solar and (BESS, H2, etc.) hybrid systems

• Creation of a competitive advantage and organisation of learning through internal and external R&D&I activities

• Support Provide long-term technology, cost and market prospects

• Establish relevant internal and external networks (conferences, associations, etc.) and function as contact for the Business Unit

• Active promotion of safe working culture

• Report to the Head of Technology and Innovation team on the scope, finance, schedule and HSSEQ of transferred projects and tasks

• You have a university master's degree or equivalent degree in engineering, economic engineering, technology management or the like; Promotion of Benefit

• You have the ability to identify and implement proactive ideas to increase profitability

• You have the ability to analyze and disassemble complex tasks

• You have a broad technical and economic understanding of renewable energy technologies

• You have a pronounced IT affinity and have fun programming

• You are able to edit and prioritize several projects

• You are open-minded, have a good sense of humor and appreciates cultural differences

• You have the ability to communicate fluently in English and German while other language skills are appreciated
