Our client is a medium-sized group of machinery and plant engineering with 3 locations in Europe and a total of approx. 250 employees. Products and plants are developed and produced for worldwide use in environmental technology (water treatment). The company is part of a larger, non-grouped group. As part of a follow-up scheme for a long-term job owner, we are looking for an experienced manager in the technical management (development/construction/project management) from machine and plant engineering. The job owner will work you thoroughly over about 18 months. The position is directly subordinate to the management. Reference number: 60640

Tasks in the deputy phase Support of the current technical conductor in the control of all technical areas Partial responsibility for manufacturing, assembly and R&E Participation in product development and process improvement projects Interface between technology, purchasing, sales, quality management and management Tasks as Technical Director (after about 18 months) Total responsibility for manufacturing, assembly, development and construction Management and development of the technical team (2 executives and about 95 specialists) Cross-site technical and disciplinary leadership of the team of over 30 employees in the areas of project management, design and development Budget planning and technical responsibility Control of product development from the idea to series maturity Ensuring compliance with quality, time and cost targets Strategic development of the product portfolio and manufacturing processes Close cooperation with the management of the corporate strategy

Complete degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable qualification Multiannual leadership experience in machine or plant engineering Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly and product development Very good 3D/2D CAD knowledge, preferably Autodesk Inventor and Auto CAD Mechanical Experience in handling PDM systems such as Vault or ECTR Embossed organizational and strategic thinking Strong communication, enforceable and team-oriented Good MS Office knowledge Secure knowledge of English in word and writing Readiness to travel to other locations
