As a test engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for conducting and managing tests to detect safety-critical and non-safety-critical systems for unmanned aircraft and their components. You will always have a look at compliance with the system development process with a focus on ELE/EMV testing. The following activities are expected: Coordination of test equipment (internal and external) and test equipment formulation of test requirements Preparation of test strategies and plans and detection procedures (AMCs or MOCs) derivation of test cases, incorporation of test cases into a request tool Development of test plans Development of the design of experimental structures and their instrumentation Conducting tests (e.g. ELE, EMC (HIRF, HERP), environmental (moisture, air pressure, temperature, etc.), load, vibration testing, system compatibility mechanical/electronic, continuous load testing) Coordination of the tests with involved development, MPI/CVE, safety engineers (m/w/d) as well as the sample test control
Complete study of mechatronics / electrical engineering or a comparable study programme Experience in carrying out certification-relevant tests in the field of ELE and EMC as well as climate tests Experience in requirements engineering and the formulation of tests Experience in system engineering, development processes (V-model) Experience with development standards of manned aviation Basic knowledge of hardware and software development Very good knowledge of MS-Office Technical English and very good German knowledge Embossed target orientation, very good communication skills and solution-oriented thinking and working methods
